Nancy has a strong background in working in innovative and creative spaces, solving complex social
problems.

With over seven years of experience in program management across various sectors in East Africa
Nancy’s passion for advocacy began during her undergraduate degree,e where she initiated the Rural
Reproductive Health Initiative, which mentored and created awareness on Sexual and Reproductive
Health (SRH) across schools in Ruiru town. The initiative was able to reach over 2450 school-going youth
through weekly awareness and education focus groups.

Previously, Nancy worked with the Zana Africa Group as a Girl Content Specialist and Associate Editor for
the organization’s Nia Teen Magazine, which includes menstrual and sexual and reproductive health
information that adolescent girls seek and need. She coordinated stakeholder management activities in
Nairobi and Kilifi counties to strengthen community groups and organizations through advocacy efforts
surrounding Adolescent SRH.

Nancy has also worked as the Program Lead at the 4-H Foundation,which works in the Youth and
Development sector managing teams across eight counties and as a trainer on WASH activities through
the USAID HBC program.

At Fresh Life, she currently works in Government Affairs leading the strategic management and direction
of the organization in government partnerships policy and advocacy. Her work involves representing the
organization in the formulation and amendment of legal, policy and regulatory frameworks to strengthen
the enabling environment for Fresh Life to scale while building and maintaining strategic relationships
with various decision-makers at Kenya’s national & county government levels to advance the
organization’s mission and goals. Nancy also supports private-public stakeholder knowledge sharing and
capacity building to advance partnership with sector peers.

Nancy is deeply passionate about working with marginalized communities and has consistently
demonstrated her commitment to this cause. She believes that everyone, regardless of their background
or circumstances, deserves access to the resources and support they need to lead healthy, productive
lives. This passion has driven her to work tirelessly in various sectors, including public health, research,
advocacy, health communication, and community development, to make a positive impact on the lives of
those most in need.
