In 2013, Adeyemi started his social development career with LEAP Africa where he up-stretched to the position of a Program Coordinator in the Business Enterprise Unit – Biz LEAP. In this role, he recorded amazing results particularly in managing the successful implementation of the Youth Development Training Program (YDTP) training-of-trainers in Anambra, Lagos and Ogun states with over 3,150 direct beneficiaries across 17 secondary schools in the states. He also managed development and Corporate Social Responsibility projects funded by Diamond Bank, 7UP, Interswitch, First Bank, and Shell Nigeria among others.
Adeyemi briefly served in the capacity of a Lead Specialist: Programs and Communications Consultant at Kasher Consulting where he managed the Total PLC Job Shadow project in Koko, Delta state and also engaged with local and international partners for funding support for Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF) project. His contribution was vital in WARIF’s selection as a grant recipient from the ACT Foundation in 2018.
Adeyemi served as Program Consultant to Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF) where he oversees the Education Pillar and other program-related activities in the Foundation for over four years. Within two years of the Foundation’s existence, Adeyemi worked with an efficient and dynamic team to secure over $169,444 in grants from USAID (through Pathfinder International) to strengthen the response to gender-based violence in Nigeria.
He led the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative activities for WARIF’s School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV) Project, piloted across 6 tertiary institutions in Lagos and Abuja between 2020 – 2021 with over 6,700 students impacted.
Having served for over ten years in the development space, Adeyemi currently leads a team of dynamic consultants at VS Management & Consulting (VSMC). A firm with a mission to accelerate the transformation of the African continent by putting its expertise to work and investing in the development of society through a range of services including development consulting, non-profit management, program design and implementation, stakeholder management, social impact assessment and communication for development.
Adeyemi is a community reformer with an endless passion for growth and development. This has seen him work as a Facilitator and consultant across Nigeria, Nairobi and other cities in Africa.
He recently authored a Pan Africa development guide (Be the Change) for young Africans who desire to transform Africa.
